The Chelsea Bed & Breakfast at 66 Ifield Road London is a typical mid-Victorian terrace house which was in a sad state of disrepair when Josephine bought it at the end of the 1970s. The ground floor rooms were still lit by gaslight while much of the back garden was taken up by an air raid shelter, but the property had huge potential and eventually provided the home and garden that could only be dreamed of all those years ago.

Josephine's sitting room, dining room and kitchen are on the ground floor with four bedrooms, the bathrooms and shower room on the upper floors.

We could not agree more with Dr Samuel Johnson's famous observation, 'when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life', and would only add, from this comfortable and convenient London B&B all the great and vibrant city has to offer is on your doorstep.
